The absolute WORST car rental experience I've ever had in any country, anywhere. High prices, additional hidden fees and idiotic attendants! At first when we showed up they said the car we reserved was not available. Then after they found a car for us, their credit card machine wasn't working. Then, the lady said that they wouldn't honor the reservation or the insurance. An hour and a half wasted with these idiots.

This rental service is good but only if you put your foot down and write emails with proof of something being wrong with the vehicle. Otherwise their just gonna tell you it's a normal thing or that you're responsible for it. Pay attention to detail and you should be just fine. It's a business at the end of the day.

The worst- slow, rude. Took over an hour to rent, then about an hour out of Guayaquil the AC quit. Took it in for a replacement next morning and it took almost 3 hours, by which time my day trip was ruined so I asked for a refund. After some arguing they said that they would process the refund but would have to retain the paperwork and would mail it to me. Being a stupid, trusting Canadian, I said OK. Never have seen the refund.
