  Plenty of hot water, booked a single room and we were upgraded to an apartment, wood burning fireplace with supply of logs daily, cooked to order eggs, fresh bread, fruit, juice and a coffee pot we had access to.
  The area square with inexpensive street food around the corner. La Floresta or the forest is a safe, pleasant neighborhood with numerous choices of five star restaurants. Walking distance to historic district. One hour up hill.
  Ten minutes to La Mariscal area. I would stay here if returning to Quito.

  Beautiful place to stay for a couple of weeks! The neighbourhood is also very nice, there's a lot to do.
