Great experience and easiest way to rent a car in all of Guayaquil! Staff was excellent and helped accommodate my needs for my exciting trip! The car was great and was able to fit all of my friends and family. No issues throughout the entire experience. Will use again and I highly recommend!

La peor experiencia, esta gente no son cumplieron su palabra el momento que hicimos la reserva vía telefónica y pagamos $100 vía PayPal, me ofrecieron un auto nuevo, y esperarme en el aeropuerto al momento de mi llegada, al día siguiente tuve que esperarles aproximadamente 1 hora y llegaron con un auto viejo, maltratado que no cumplía mis necesidades. Y me dijeron que si quiero el nuevo tengo que pagar el doble del precio acordado inicialmente. Se negaron a devolverme los $100 de la reserva. Pude encontrar otro lugar donde rente un auto nuevo y a menor precio de lo que esta gente me ofreció. No recomiendo este lugar, que decepción!

Buen servicio me gusto la atencion Daniel me Ayudo con un carro automatico Vitara en mis vacaciones en Ecuador tienen diferente tipos d Carros con precios rasonables recomiendo este lugar.

Viajo frequentemente a Ecuador y siempre uso los servicios de Carmax Rent a Car. Excelente servicio al cliente, buenos vehiculos y a precios razonables. Muy buena experiencia que antes no la tenia con otras agencias que rentan vehiculos.

I was very skeptical because of almost only positive reviews for this car rental compared to all the other international ones with really bad ones. But what can I say, everything was great indeed. Almost new cars in good condition, super friendly english speaking personnel and prices that are less than half of the other big players. Insurance and conditions are also good, so I would definitely rent a car here again! 👍🏼

I come and go from NY to Guayaquil and have used Carmax's services on several occasions. The cars are top notch and reliable, as are their customer service and available options.

Shout out to the staff specially to mariam who gave me a great deal on the Kia Sportage that I rented while I was in Guayaquil. The office is 2 minutes away from the airport which was extremely convenient for me and my family

I have been a client of Carmax Guayaquil for several years. Each and every time the service has been outstanding. I can always count on a prompt pick-up from the airport as well as drop-off. As for the cars, I have never had an issue. I rarely make reviews online, but these folks deserve it. I am always treated like family. It's is a great relief to use CarMax Guayaquil when traveling in Ecuador.

Do not use this company. They failed to inform me the car I had rented was not available until 1 day before travel and then failed to find me an alternative despite saying they would and then sent me a text to say there were no cars available, thus ruining my holiday. Very disappointing, very unprofessional.
