  Needs a deep clean and more trash cans. Night visits are interesting if for no other reason watching locals waste time.

  It is impressive and so is the view but how much can a monument offer compared to a museum or botanical garden? The story of the martyrs in the war of liberation against the unconscionable French is must hearing. As the US was committing atrocities in Vietnam, so were the French in Algeria.

  Beautiful building .amazing views of the whole of Algiers from there. With a forest just beside it also with amazing views, area for children to play, cafe, restaurant and 2 museums which I thoroughly enjoyed.

  A must see site when in Algiers. Located strategically on top of one of Algiers panoramic hills it stands as a monument dedicated to the martyrs of the Independence revolution. The structure is massive and dominant and it houses a museum.

  Must see in Algiers. Under the monument there is an intetesting museum. You can see mixed symbols of the revolution, together with islamic culture, and some elements typical for the idea of the communism. Very interesting approach.

  An important symbol od Algerian liberation war, an amazing and modern building to visit in algiers, there is a parking for cars, and also you can walk around this monument to reach the Bois des arcades forest where you will be amazed by the view of Algiers bay and enjoying some ice cream at the same time, from there you can head to the national army museum, you can buy some stuffs in the shops in the underground mall and taste some delicious meals and food in the restaurants

  Must see in Algiers. Besides the impressive monument you can also find a small museum there and a beautiful esplanade under which is a shopping mall.
