  It was my dream to visit this museum ! Incredible ! All the amazing orientalist painters are there : Dinet , Delacroix , Fromentin, Racine and Degas, Pissarro , Monet I could not imagine this richness in one place ! Love definitely this place . Love Algeria 🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿

  Really don't understand last review. I'm surprised at statements. Agiers like all capitals across the world has its risks; I've met with nothing but kindness from people - Algerians want you to like their country, and it is well worth the effort to visit - as is this Museum. Easy access by the new efficient metro system from centre of town - see the Botanical Gardens at same time.

  The problem with this place that it's a danger to travel there for any American or western person This is a third world country in Africa.. 100% Islamic Very scary There's no reason to ever travel to Algeria Please take my advice
