I think this is a common problem in many organisations, the persons with the most authority are also the most difficult to deal with on a professional level.

Remember every leader makes the soft, warm, happy decisions and leaves the difficult decisions with his right hand man, usually the Economic Chancellor in this present age.

The hotel staff were very friendly and excellent but the management were better suited to play a James Bond villain.

Please sort this out.

Exceptional facilities and outstanding staff. One of the best places I've stayed in. I recently vsiited the place again and it is amazing consistent in excellence. The newly opened Merdjane and Azzuro restaurants offer local and italian meals respectively.
The staff is very welcoming and even greeted me by name on my second visit. A must try experience when in Algiers

I just spent 3 days at the Sofitel as the Algerian weather would not allow me to continue inland with my work. It was a pleasant experience.Friendly and helpful staff-good views and even with the language barrier(i only speak english) there were some very helpful ``desk staff`` who could assist with my needs. I found time to go into the Botanical gardens 2 minutes away, and then continued up the cable-way to see the Martyrdom monument and excellent museum underneath. I must point out that I left clothes (gym clothes behind) after my first night staying. I was not expecting to go back and on discovering my clothes missing on the 3rd night asked if they might still have them-Amazingly , they did-delivered to my room. Small things like this are very impressive.Thanks Sofitel.

Amazing hotel, completely great value. My air conditioner was broken during my stay but that's not usual. The food, bed, views, pools, and drinks are just superb!
