  Built to accommodate the first tourists and first winterers, the Sahara Hotel is the first and oldest hotel in Biskra, built during the colonial period, after the French disembarked in the Queen of the Ziban and built the modern city in 1851.
  
  The hotel is a very important monument which is part not only of the history of Biskra but also, of all the Algeria, thanks to its typical architecture, its location, its history It also hosted celebrities of the whole world.
  
  The Sahara hotel is one of the most striking architectural works of the city of Biskra, mostly built of earthenware bricks during the colonial period, colonial and Arabian style, it represents the testimony of a part of the " History of this city.
