  One of the cleaner places to visit in Algiers. It is, though, just a church. The view to the ocean is fantastic.

  Beautiful location with amazing views. The church is only open to the public from 11-12:30 and 3-5:30pm but the courtyard surrounding it is large with many benches for enjoying the view. There is also a place for parking and a supérette close by for snacks.

  Brilliant! Breathtaking views of the Algers Bay. The basilica itself features very light decorations and very calm and soothing. A must when in city.

  Perfect landscape location with a panoramic sea scenario look out. Taking selfies inside the basilic is forbidden and there is a specific place to take normal photos if would like too. That's the annoying part.

  Great location and good view. If you go there at the openinhmg hour which is 11:00A.M you will join the morning tour where the history of the basilique is told. Interesting thing about the basilica is the writings on the dome; "Notre Dame prays for us and the muslims" which is not commonly seen in other churches.

  It's absolutely worth the drive, even during rush hour. Truly a wonderful homage to the multicultural diversity in Algiers and a beautiful display of late Byzantine(all though by French) architecture.

  The Basilica is one of the few legacies of Algerian Christiannity. The place offers a wonderful view on Algiers Bay.
