I was there 3 days, the second night four rooms where robbed! They stole over 7000 dollars in cash and jewelry! The rooms don t have secured boxes! Security sucks and no cameras! Also few rooms have windows false lock !

EXTREMELY DANGEROUS!!
I stayed at this property with my family last July/August and had two of my guest obtain serious injuries due to the living room floor which is at the edge of the swimming pool. The floor was extremely slippery and impossible to avoid falling on. We had 6 people fall while WALKING two of which BROKE their nose and wrist. After the first incident I reported this to the property manager and nothing was done about it. I was told "there's nothing they could do" which then led to the second broken bone. THIS PROPERTY IS DANGEROUS. I have contacted other vacationers who confirmed they had the same problem as we did and when they posted their reviews they somehow were taken down. I have doctor bills, pictures, x-rays, and emails that will confirm exactly what happened on our "vacation." The owner has failed to take any responsibility for these accidents even after ALL of the staff confirming that the floor is a problem for every guest. I am informing you of the conditions at this property and urge you to help keep your customers safe by removing this listing and any future listings from your site before someone dies at this property. It is honestly that bad! I never take the time to write a review unless there's a situation that I feel responsible to do so. This is one of those cases. This place is unbelievable. We could not stop marveling at how lucky we were to stay here. I can't imagine one person would be disappointed. Villa Del Mar is incredible!!!! We were 25 coming from Maine, Florida, Ireland, England and South Africa. it was a family reunion with all of my fathers children and their children. We ranged from 6 to 82 and there never never never was a time we were bored. The children and adults thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
The staff is delightful, catering to your every need as much or as little as you need. Pool, beach, billiards, Pizza oven, pig roast, ping pong, darts, bachi ball sp??, hammocks, patios, more more more. it is all available to you and you don't even have to leave. You might not want to this place will take your breath away. it felt safe and comfortable all the time.
Access to town, diving, sailing, zip line, water falls, Samana at the end of the penninsula, scooters, gas, banks, restaurants. you name it. i'm probably missing a few things. if you get a chance you have to go to Luis. Exit Los Nomadas right, go about 3 miles to the big blue service center on the left. it is where the road straightens out. Take a right at Coson dirt road, follow the signs to Luis. its on the beach. the best Pina Coladas you will ever have. i found all 25 members sneaking there by walk from the villa or a drive several times. Ask for Sammy (luis brother) big smile and happy to help.
Now Jose is the best best best, Omar cooks wonderfullly, and Auerrla and Noelle will take great care of you. i miss them already. Martine and her husband Francois are great as well and they oversee the place.
