  Used to be a National Park where you can enjoy Nature at its best. Now you will see mostly agriculture.

  It acceptable place for the price, have hot water and pool plus there is a nice view of the valley. And it is in the way to Valle nuevo

  The place is barren. While the scenery is OK and the wildlife includes endemics, don't even think about finding somewhere to buy anything to eat or drink. As to accommodation, yes, there's one (just one) place, right in the middle. To stay there, you can't just turn up, you have to reserve it in advance, which is why it's usually empty. Don't expect any security. Local guards are not provided with transport so wherever they can't walk, they don't go. Basically, it's a wild place with a virtual fence around it; no services. (Don't go thinking it's a wildlife haven - the locals, badly educated ones, set fires that burn into the park. People go in to steal things, plants, animals, and the lack of guards makes it easy.

  Beautiful landscapes and low temperatures. Bird-watching is a must as well as frogs, reptiles and other animals that are frequent and easy to interact with.

  Camping area has bathroom facilities. Park rangers are friendly and helpful. Great views
