El Departamento de Medicina de la Universidad opera un importante centro médico ubicado en el centro de Santo Domingo.

  Nice university, lots of careers offered, administrative offices usually open after 9 am. They have library and homework areas.

  Came to see the university last month with my sister from NY to decided if i would enter the dental program because i am currently a dental assistant and wanted to move up. While I was there I started talking to some foreign students from Puerto rico . To my surprise they literally told me " Don't come here" that to me was very scary. I continued by asking why they told me that , they explained that the dental facilities look kinda nice but half the seats don't work to standards " Hoses, Air valves ,lights , Xray development etc.: I was even told that when using high speeds many students would work with little or no water do to leaks in the system because it would drench them.
  
  I had just looked at the clinical area from the entrance and it had look ok to me so i was skeptical of what they were telling me but when the students pulled out videos and pictures of what they were talking about i was horrified when i saw it up close.
  
  I continued to talk to them about faculty and administration. Again i was horrified. They told me they had some great professors but the majority of the others were so out of date that it was useless to learn what they were saying.
  
  They did tell me about administration but im not going to get into that, lets just say that i felt a great anger coming from them. So i didn't want to get into it .
  
  Just wanted to give the heads up to anyone that is looking to go there talk to people and make your on decision. Mine was pass

  The campus is a little bit old and the conditions of the classrooms and the library is not the best

  Thanks to UCE,I became a doctor.Just retired after 25 yrs of practice.
  I had a great career in Michigan.
