  We did the Mofongo King as a family for a breakfast and a lunch while visiting Sosua. Great drinks. I recommend the Mofongo King Special (very similar to a Long Island but with tropical flair) and the Coco Loco in a fresh coconut. You pay beach prices but the drinks were stiff and well made. The Mofongo was very good (obviously) but the burgers, club sandwich, and fish fingers were all well made and tasty as well. My daughter loved the Arroz con camarones.

  Am Anfang des langen Strandes. Gute Musik, Essen wie bei allen anderen gut. Strandabschnitt ist noch mit glatten Steinen im Meer. 100m weiter reiner Sand. Fotos gehören zu Mofongo KING Art Museum

  Mofongo King is literally my favorite restaurant on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic. It has spectacular views, everything in the menu is excellent and the people who own and work there are wonderful, kind and generous. They go out of their way to help you and make you feel comfortable. I've been all over the country and the Mofongo there and the shrimp pasta is the best I've had period, and I've been to over 40 countries. If you miss this gem of a restaurant on your trip to the Dominican Republic's north coast it would surely be a shame. To top it all off, it is located in the center of one of the islands prettiest beaches.
