  On my honeymoon with my wife she thought it would be a nice birthday present to pay for my to undertake the Advanced Open Water Diver course. Whilst the instructor Sam was very thorough and I did indeed have the most amazing time I never did receive my qualification. Not a total waste of money as I did dive, but to never receive the qualification is completely wrong, I feel cheated and ripped off.

  Fantastic diving experience! Paul, Audrey, and the team are excellent instructors who really take the time to look after you and make sure you are learning in a safe manner, but also enjoy each dive. I completed my Advanced Open Water course here and loved it! The Dudu lagoon cave dive was incredible, and so was the wreck dive - it was full of all kinds of colourful fish. Highly recommend coming here if you're looking to go diving!

  une journée très prometteuse, première plongée sur un tombant ou il n'y a pas grand chose à voir et dans la zone des 10 m plutôt sympa. Deuxième plongée très sympa sur un petit ferry qui a coulé. Niveau matos j'ai eu une stab très pourrie, ma femme sa stab était correcte. Le tour sur l'ile pour manger était top, une très bonne journée, bon ils ont peur de pas être payé alors faut se dépêcher d'aller au distributeur de billets pour retirer de l'espace car soit disant leur service carte bancaire est en panne ( faut savoir que si on paye par carte bancaire ils sont obligé de payer des impôts ) donc obligé de payer en cash sinon paypal. L'ambiance est très sympa et très bien organisé

  This was my second time diving with the dive academy and it was an incredible experience. My first experience with them was to get my open water certification where Paul was my instructor. Paul was very knowledgable and took his time explaining all the necessary information to make it a safe and unforgettable experience. I had such an amazing time with them the first time that I got my advanced certification with them less than a year later. The second time around I got a change to be instructed by Audrey who was just as amazing as Paul. I was her first advanced client and I was so surprised when I heard that because she was amazing, very informative and patient. I Will for sure be diving with them in the future.

  We spend a week in Las Terrenas Samana taking the Open Water Diver Course at The Dive Academy. Very friendly and professional people. Since day one we received good training by an excellent scuba instructor named Paul. But we must mention that everyone was nice and dedicated in the dive course. They pick us up every day from our hotel for a full round trip to the training site.
  We are already Planning to return next year to do the Advanced Open Water.

  These guys were great! They were convenient also for where we were staying - The Bahia Principe Las Terrenas. Audrey and her team were very accommodating and helpful both before we arrived and on our dives. I organized a large excursion for the wedding group of 20 people from at home in Calgary, Canada and found them quick to respond and very helpful over the internet and phone.
  
  Once we arrived they were punctual, professional, and knowledgeable. Some of us had not dove for a while we were a bit nervous. They helped us structure dives that made sense for all levels and gave a very hands on personal approach for those that were uncomfortable.
  
  I did 4 dies with them. 2 dives on the Samana side which included the dive by the Bacardi Island called "La Farola"/Samana, and a "The ferry"/Samana wreck. We saw a lot of fish in the Samana area, and even though the water did not cooperate the visibility was pretty good.
  
  On the Las Terranes side we dove: "Piedra Marcel" and "Las Cuevitas." The former was some big circular coral mounts plentiful with fish, and the latter was a really cool coral formation that allowed you to swim through different cavern and cave like formations. Really sweet!
  
  I recommend this dive company. Their prices are more than fair, and they are professional and reliable and I would not hesitate to use them again.

  Originally I only intended to snorkel with the dive academy, but after seeing the awesome ship wreck at Samana, I was keen to go down and explore it properly along side all of the fishes! It was my first time scuba diving but Paul and Audrey put me at complete ease and it was an all round amazing experience.
  
  I would highly recommend snorkelling or scuba diving (or both) with these guys, the Samana wreck excursion where you also go to the famous Barcadi island is awesome - the highlight of my time in Dominican Rep for sure!
  
  Thanks for a great diving experience and I definitely have the diving itch now!
