Good, but quite expensive. Be careful when they pack your stuff, cause sometimes they may miss one of your items, and put it in someone else bag by mistake, and they do not make themselves responsible.

I would give them 3 stars as their customer service was lacking, but they did have a pretty good selection of items (familiar brands) and vegan ad gluten free options as well. I shopped here a few times, and each time I felt that when I first walked to the register and started unloading my groceries etc, that the cashiers continued to do whatever they were doingand not really acknowledging me until the last minute.

I'm a faithful customer to El Nacional in any major city I visit. They have one of the greatest varieties in the whole country but unfortunately my opinion on them is starting to decay.

The quality here in Punta Cana is so much lower on their fresh products and even the frozen ones. The closest example today, I love the Bear Foot Brownie Ice Cream (Food Club), this is the second time I find the packages (all of them) dirty, dent and sticky with remains in all the other packages on the outside. I took the better looking one and then ask the cashier if she could clean it a little with a napkin, the gracious cashier told me to go to the cafeteria and get it myself. If that was the situation in Santiago or Santo Domingo, I'm sure they would have clean it up a little or send someone for the napkin. Yes they are a supermarket who main job is supply products, but what about the service?
