Had a blast at Steve's Bar and if I ever go back to DR, will definitely stop by. It's a really good place to people watch and mingle with other cool travelers and locals. Keep in mind that this isn't the "resort", so govern yourself accordingly and enjoy :)

This is the Ex Pat hang out spot in Bavaro. It is the place to be both afternoon and night. THERE ARE PLENTY OF TELEVISIONS FOR VIEWING ANY AND EVERY SPORTING EVENT YOU COULD IMMAGINATION IN ENGLISH. They also have some of the best happy hour promotions in the whole area. THE STAFF ARE SOME OF THE MOST FRIENDLY IN TOWN. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get out of their hotel and get the real carribean vibe!

Great bar where you can normally see all your sporting events
Prices are local prices . One of the few local bars where you feel as one of the regulars.
Music seems to get louder and louder as the night progresses but so does the crowd.
The is something for everyone
Sports..mostly rock music with a local touch..gringos..and lots of ex pats.and of course beautiful girls looking for a good time
