  You know you’ve found your IDEAL job when your boss tells you to get ready to go ‘sampling’ a different restaurant every week, check out a club, scout locations etc, to be able to share the experiences with our guests!
  This is exactly what I found when I joined the wonderful ladies Carla y Lucia here at Santo Domingo Vacation D’Elite.
  Before I even got to experience my first trip with our English speaking German guests last week, I spent a wonderful relaxing afternoon at Sol Dominicus Alkquimia Restaurant with a group of four girls. The residences all face the Caribbean Sea, therefore you know the views are spectacular. The restaurant offers an exciting variety of fresh seafood and salads, plus a magnificent display of raw seafood dishes prepared Italian style like you’ve never tasted before. The setting is to die for, with tables spread out around four amazing pools, including an infinity pool. Service is prompt and courteous and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and ready to please.
  Can you even imagine working in such a setting? But that is not all!
  A couple of days later I had my first opportunity to be an assistant/translator to our VIP guests from Germany. We designed a private tour for them on our own boat which took them to Canto de la Playa, a treat that not everyone gets to enjoy. Leaving the dock earlier than any other tour company gives our guests the advantage of enjoying this pristine beach all to themselves, or with just a few people around. There they walked around exploring and enjoying the sights and sun. They also did a little snorkeling in the crystal waters of such wonderful and unusual colors of teal, turquoise, greens and blues that just take your breath away.
  At their leisure, we left for Playa Tao and the extraordinary Beach Club to enjoy the seafood barbecue prepared especially for them. The setting for this exclusive restaurant is also out of this world, so much so that the younger couple decided right then and there they wanted to have their wedding later on this year right on Playa Tao, and we are more than happy to help them make their wishes come true.
  Another short ride later and they had the opportunity to visit the town of Mano Juan and the Sea Turtle preserve, where they had the chance to see the nests and the hatchlings that were to be released back to the ocean that same a night.
  Later, it was on to the natural pools to swim amongst starfish and celebrate the end of a fantastic experience with a Proseco toast.
  Needless to say, once we were back on land we had all become one tight knit happy little family. There were tears of joy in everyone’s eyes and the promise to come back later this year for the intimate wedding celebration.
