I made my reservation over the phone. I was told check in is at 3pm, but can arrive early and explore the resort. Had to wait outside the resort for 2 hours. It took 1.5 hours to check in. Lastly was charged $150 dollars over the total I was given when I made the reservation. The food was not good and the alcohol used to prep drinks is of very low quality. Loved the beach. Only 2 restaurants. Pool closes at 7pm and was give 3 different times for checkout. Arrived one day and that same night a note was left on the door reminding me to check out. Personnel seems overworked and not happy. WiFi only at the reception area. Would not recommend
Good hotel with amazing staff. The hotel will be renovated soon as its pretty outdated.
Champagne welcome doesn't assist..there was no champagne ever
and our honeymoon upgrade was not done we were told on our first night we were told they don't do anything anymore the next day they gave our bed balloons and a plate of fruit from the buffet
Along with toy with wrong year .the beach is dirty and unsafe with glass I usually stay at Punta cana but we wanted to try something new for our honeymoon
Looks like cum in the toilet & we just checked in. The faucet was running when we walked in so the room looked recently occupied. Called front desk to no avail.
Worst check in experience- staff were rude especially Jesus and Leonardo who let obnoxious uncivilized people cut the line. I bought this to his attention he said either you cut the line too or ask them to get back in line.
Literally have been to over 13 different countries and have never experienced such terrible customer service at any resort.
No umbrellas reserved at front desk for new guests upon check in so pretty much expect to be drenched by the time you get to your room.
No buggies/golf carts for people with disabilities either so go to a different resort to make your life easier.
Fernando was amazing and extremely helpful with any questions we had.
No room service offered for the bus full of people who missed dinner because our bus was delayed for a half hour.
No wifi in the room , they used to charge for it but the service was so terrible they actually stopped charging for it.
I came this close to booking Grand Bahia but didn’t because of the flight times - I reallydo regret this decision having realized we spent nearly $2500 for two people only to have one of the worst travel experience thus far.
I’ve never written a review before but I now regret it. I should have read the bad reviews on this resort before booking it. I feel like most of the positive reviews are written by hotel management. Only reason I wrote this is because I wanted to save people the misery of spending thousands of dollars only to experience the worst customer service and amenities a resort has to offer.
Limit shower time to 1.5 minutes unless you like ice cold showers.
The heat doesn’t work and the fan doesn’t have a switch to turn it off so you have to jump off the bed to reach the string from the ceiling to turn it off.
Room floor had sand all over it so wear socks or slippers when in doors.
Excelente hotel
except for the ocean where I cut my foot on a submarine rocks and hit a submarine cactus on the second time into the water the rest of the place were exceptional. ..the food was amazing the room cleaned every day. ..
The best time. .
Hermoso lugar, y hermosa vista
Wspaniały klimat.
Food variety for lunch and dinner is plenty. Entertainment is a bit lacking, though the performers all seem enthused. Beach sand was full of leaves and rocks; generally uncomfortable to walk on. The free water activities such as kayak and pedal boat were fun. The AC in my room was very weak. Overall a good resort to stay in.
