Locals beach restaurant ! Good food, reasonable prices, not much in amenities, but they try to accommodate, can get pretty busy on weekends have to be patient. Would highly recommend for their fish dishes. Beach is a 5 star.

Really nice place. The food was amazing and the view to the beach is the best. You can order the food and go swimming and they will bring it to you.

We spent a half day at Playa Coson ( we were staying at Resort Costa Las Ballenas, not too far away). The beach was almost completely empty (Thanksgiving week), and just gorgeous. Basically, what we do at a beach is just about nothing, until it's time to look for lunch and a beer. This was that kind of beach. We walked most of its length, saw one person reading under an umbrella, and one other surfing. That was it. Walked up to the east end of the beach and it was busier. We had gotten recommendations to eat at Luis Restaurant. Fresh seafood, Presidente beers, and little else. No hablan Ingles, pero no es importante. This is just a couple of shacks on the beach, basically, but it was a great lunch. Lobsters were immense, we didn't even try. What can you say? Fresh fish, picnic table on the beach under an umbrella. Beer. Did I miss anything?

Lots of people, especially weekends. Very long waiting time to be served, if so at all :/
Great beach though! And good food...but do not expect you can order what you want; you may order what there is left! Prices are average, moderate; except coctails.
My tip: Valerios' restaurant - only 500m stroll along the beach towards Los2Rios.
    Smaller, nicer.

Perfect clean beach side friendly local eatery. They bring out the fish to show you prior to grilling it to perfection from head to tail with cheeks still soft. Fries good. Veggies good. Salad was basic. Pricing in December 2016 was whole fish, fries, grilled veggies, salad, two beers = 800 DOP (walk from wyndam hotel or sublime residencies about a 15 min walk west along the beach... Perfectly safe and clean)

The best place to eat sea food for sure! By the way... I will never forget this places. I had an accident swimming in that beach, the riptide took me 40meter out from the coast and I couldn't come back. After 15 minutes fighting and trying to stay floating one of that restaurant jump into the water with a surfboard and rescued me from dying there. This place will be always in my mind and all the amazing people who works there. So much love

Simply the best Dominican place you can find, with 90% of locals and max 10% of tourists. Great fish, awesome pina colada, good service. Highly recommended to visit!
