Beautiful place. With historic colored houses, well preserved, clean and accessible to everyone. Entrance is free, good job by Dominican Governement for preservation of tourists attractions and providing things and activities for foreigners and the citizens.

It's a load of colourful buildings, but that is all. I understand the hotel own them and charge high rents, hence the locals don't use. Great for a photo shoot but don't expect any shops.

This town is pretty small, but it doesn't mean that you have to waste your time going to a boring shopping mall that has nothing in it. It looks nice though!
