A very different set up. The kitchen has a huge counter and open to the view. You have sitting areas that are either open air and under a cieling, or these circular huts with a hay ceiling that fall low so you have to duck to get in. This offers complete privacy from the outside. Very well coordinated table service and the food was great. I loved this place. Went a couple if times before leaving the Dominican Republic.

Food and Services was good, the young man was very courteous to help us deal with a small lizard who took our table as restroom.

It’s one of the oldest, and very good restaurant. It’s good for families, friends, and work meetings. It has a big variety of food for anyone. Its pizza is one of the best too. If you come to Bonao you must try it.

We went there for the chicken but they didn't had anyso we went for chivo guisado (goat) which was delicious omg amazing with rice and beans.highly recommend.we also had the pizza but it was ok not the end of the world I had better.

The Plaza Merengue is famous for it's good Pizzas, which they offer in different variations. The location itself is a little bit outside from the city but they are quiet and offer a large parking lot with armed watchman, the restaurant has a large open air pavilion and several smaller one for families. The kids loves the big playground with different funny-unsafe facilities for climbing and mobbing other kids, while the parents are free for chatting, selfiemaking and gentle drinking the freeze beer (Presidente light recommended for responsible drinking!). The other food except the Pizza we can only recommend the French fries the Beefsteak is bad and gets only 1 point on the beefsteak-scala. So if you go to there with your hungry family, than order the big one completto and enjoy the loud noises of repletion of your crew after the meal.

Pollo al carbon was not the best at 8 pm. Usually they have the best chicken in town. Tonight they must had reheated the chicken because it was stale and dry

Plaza Merengue es una de las mejores opciones sin dudas para ir a comer con tu familia en Bonao.
Sus exquisitos y económicos platos del día, su amplio menú y su acogedor lugar son unos de los factores para hacer de este lugar una opción indudable a la hora de ir con tu familia, pareja, etc.
