I visited this part of Dominican Republic for the first time in my life as per my wife instance and I would do it again, the lack of services is complemented by the beauty and peaceful ambient of the entire shore.

The place is always dirty. I do not understand why there is a charge for parking on this place and nobody take care of the premises??

Public beach with lots of huts that serve food. You must walk several meters into the sea before the water begins to get deep. Parking is 100 pesos.

Beach was beautiful and seafood looked great. Ordered a big crab looking thing. The crab barely had meat and wasn't fresh. Upsetting😡

This review only covers the beach and not the sand bar as I have heard that place is amazing. As far as La ensenada, it's an excellent beach for kids and would suggest it if you are staying far from an area without a beach, but I would not suggest traveling far as you can find something similar beaches nearby. We also ate there and the food was good and prices were reasonable as well. Tips:-Go early and not late as the sand flees pounced on us in the evening.
-Go during the week as this place is packed during the weekend or on Dominican holidays.
