An amazing view & great food, can't get any better. Ask for the chef special. Be aware of the guys with the serenades might accidentally kick your drinks.

The place it's fancy and nice, the bathroom it's beautiful and very accommodating. The food it's expensive and the service it's very slow. I had to wait almost 40 min. For a glass of water. The food it's good but not worth the price. I ordered ribs that i didn't like, some other meats were great. The seafood we tried was overcoocked but had good flavor.

Over priced!! Very nice looking place. Historic building! Regular service, nothing outstanding (for the price). Tricky bill with not correct add. Subtotal+ITBIS Didn't match second "tax" erased with pen. Waiter couldn't eplained, well didn't want to tell that tip was included (10% "legal") No goodbye to us. :(

Very good food a great attention but very expensive compare to other restaurant in the area. It has a wonderful arrangements inside and also nice restroom for an old stile building colonial. I love the inside view and exterior layout. This is right spot to look at the old government house from colonial age. Like I mentioned it well located in the very old side of the town must of presentation occured here for Christmas and other event

Excellent landscape view and better location, in the heart of the first city in America (Zona Colonial of Santo Domingo) great environment and the food quiet good.

The best beef tartar I have had in Santo Domingo. Get it as a starter. It's enough for 2. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff.

Great restaurant with a cool patio in the old town. It's the oldest tavern/bar in the Americas. It's a good spot to have a drink and people watch. I had the carbonara pasta which was good, and the Secreto Angus steak with green pepper sauce which was amazing. It was one of the best steaks I've ever had.

One of the best meals in recent memory. Expensive, but this meal in the US would be $$$$. I woke up the next day craving some of the excellent flavors. Very good. Wish to go back. I can still remember the flavors of the steak with the mushroom glaze (it's in some of the photos others have posted)

The service ia good but the accuracy of some of the dishes need to IMPROVE; We had pasta a la carbonara that needed more sauce, remove the blob of cheese the chef put on top.Worst dish ever

Beautiful atmosphere if you sit outside on a nice night. Highly recommended for any tourists visiting the area. I had a delicious steak dinner and they have a great selection of cigars for dessert if you're into that. 5 star restaurant in la capital. The staff are dressed like pirates too!
