Great afternoon activity for the mildly adventurous . Tough water shoes must. The highest jumps can also be avoided if you chicken out.

Better be in shape. Not for the faint hearted. But, beautiful. Expect a long hike up and umerous dives into frigid water for a swim into a canyon.

A must do while in Puerto Plata! Amazing experience. I was only able to do 7 out of the 27 Charcos but that was great. The staff was nice and friendly. We pay for the photographer to follow us and that was the best decision.. he make sure to get a lot of pics and short videos. Definitely worth the money.

A fantastic experience climbing the mountains and then taking the river/waterfalls on the way down. The tour guides were experts, helping anyone who was nervous or unsure about their abilities while letting the more "experienced/athletic" people explore a bit around the river.

The waterfalls are all super beautiful, and at 3 different points there were opportunities to jump from a height into a pool. the entire experience is videotaped and photographed which is available for purchase (50USD for an USB). The climb I would estimate at 30 minutes up to the waterfall, although it was hard because the guides joke about Dominican time.

There is also a buffet here, usually included if you book the tour

This park is a mist if you are decking at Amber Cove. The small waterfalls are so much fun! It is important to have in mind that you have to walk up hill for a while so if you have an injury or are not able to walk for a long time do not take this trip.

Great outdoor experience! Uphill hiking, guided water activities, equipment rentals, food, gift shop.
We had a wonderful experience however, we are a bit older and the hike up the mountain can be a bit strenuous or taxing. The rewards are great to dive, slide and swim in mountain water.
If you are not physically fit for climbing, swimming, leaping and jumping, this may not be the excursion to go on. The guided "tour" through the natural water park may be rather quick due to the guides attempting to complete as many tour cycles or rotations as possible. The more cycles they complete, the more tips they earn. Not bad, but occasionally, you may feel the guide rush you to jump or give you a little boost down the slides. It is just that there may be a large group you may be with or one following close behind.
Overall it was a very fun experience, but I'm not as fit as I thought. Better suited for a younger crowd. Especially the high jumps of 60 plus feet into a narrow waterfall basin at the bottom. Very exhilarating experience!!

I was there twice within 2 years. It's really nice and thrilling. Jumping off cliffs into the river is a one of a kind experience. Everything is well organised and safe. I definitely recommend!

What an excellent outing! The highlight of our time in the Dominican, it made the trip worth it. We did 12 of the 27 waterfalls, but even so, it was a blast and felt like a perfect morning.
The staff are helpful, and our guides were awesome! They played little jokes on us (like slipping smallish rocks into our helmets hanging off our lifejackets on our hike up the trail until we noticed the extra weight) and generally were having as much fun as we were. They never made it seem as though it were a job to them. They helped those who were afraid to jump from certain heights conquer their fear and stayed close to those needing a helping hand throughout the hike up and through the river between each fall.
They were also pretty amazing, diving into some tiny pools from daring heights!
I was ready to go back to the top for another run on the way back to the shops. Highly recommended!
Even the lunch the served was among the best in the whole trip (better than most of the resort food for sure).

This excursion through Marriott was absolutely thrilling! Our Tour Guide, Winston Palonco, was very attentive and accommodating. He made sure everyone was able to enjoy the excursion! I definitely recommend!

Awesome experience. Absolute must-do for thrill seekers. It's worth the journey from either Sosua or Puerto Plata. My guide -Kelvin was amazing. He helped me every step of the way. Even non swimmers like me can do this and still have fun. There is a lot of steep climbing involved though on stony terrain, so be prepared for the possibility of blisters especially if you rent their 'water' shoes.

Very nice, if you like to jump from Heights into water this is the place they also have some slides or if you choose not to do either there is a ladder you could go down if you don't want to do it we had Gaby and Nino they were great and very patient

Amazing place with an amazing crew. One tip, do not get the people that are over there offering to record and take pictures during the excursion. We got them and ALL the pictures were blurry and I mean ALL the freaking pictures lol. When you get there, they have a presentation going on on the TV of a great recompilation of videos and photos, very professional, but that is not what they deliver. just take your action camera. The buffet is really good and the guides are nice. don't forget to tip the guides!

We had the best time here. The hike was hard on my wife but the guides were patient with us. The waterfalls were awesome but go by so fast and the place itself is worth checking out. Watch out for the Dominican Chocolate on the ground on the way up it's animal feces, land mines waiting for a miss step

Quite the experience! Highly recommended as a spot for adventurers and thrill seekers. It was breathtaking and gorgeous, from the rock formations to the vegetation! Just awe inspiring. I'm waiting on pics from my brother's go pro as you cannot take anything with you. Nor would I recommend anything other than a go pro with a wrist strap! Bring your swimwear, life jacket and fun pants!!!

It's a lot of fun. Came in from Santo Domingo. It's right off a dirt road. They take both pesos and dollars. Tour guides are friendly and amicable. It can be physically trying so be prepared. Entrance fee includes: life jacket, helmet, and buffet after the trek. You're rock climbing and jumping down waterfalls, so have proper footing

Popular nature destination, often crowded. We visited with our family (4 people), we got our own guide. You can choose between 7, 12 and 27 waterfalls. We chose 12 which was enough for kids. You start with about 30 minute walk, which goes up the hill in the end. We were lucky as they let us pass bigger groups, as you might get chilly in water as all waterfalls are in forest and shadows. Guides were nice and all adventure is good fun if you like slides and jumping to water (heights of 3-10 meters). You can also skip some of the waterfalls, its it looks too scary. Generally its nice and clean, helpful guides can also take photos with your camera (pay extra ~20 USD).
