They should take care of the animals better. More food and clean spaces. Lots of room for improvement

Good to walk around and see some animals. The price includes a train ride and they have an area for kids with farm animals great for picnics. They have a place to buy snacks and food and a zoo store available. Plenty of parking spots. ONLY TAKE CASH. It doesn't open on Monday.

Good for walking, picnic with kids and includes a train ride for free. It cost $3 dollars per adult and it takes around an hour to walk around. Better if you go when it isn't too hot and bring water

A perfect way to entertain a 2 and 40 year old. Nothing like crappy, cramp developing county zoo. The train (included) made it like a safari park and all animals in good condition. You pay extra for a child zoo (not much). Could do with a good option over snacks.

Zoodom offers a place where you can go on a picnic and/or sightseeing with the family, friends, etc. It has two wide parking lots. The entrance is Rd$150 per adult. You can enter with a picnic basket. There's two small cafeteria and a zoo shop where you can buy souvenirs, hats, caps etc. They have a train that departs every 20 minutes or when full. I wouldn't use the train though because they driver goes too fast for you to take good pictures. I'd advise to go with confortable sneakers so that way you can walk and actually enjoy the trip. Most of the animals here are birds. They have small lions, camels, monkeys, buffalo's, etc.. Missing the elephant. Overall a two hour trip.

Right next to a favelas style neighbourhood, it's a real shame because the animals present deserve to be seen but with the location and the way the facility is maintained, its not what we call spotless, I cannot recommend it as a must see. There's better zoos.

After having a bad experience at the aquarium I wasn't expecting much. I honestly expected to see dead animals.

However it was a pretty good zoo. The animals and the exhibits were well maintained and it had more of a safari feel to it.

You can get pretty close to the animals as well.

Overall my wife and I enjoyed the zoo a lot and highly recommend it.

Side note bring your own food and have a picnic.

Large variety of national and international animals. It's a clean environment. Has a playground for the kids and the zoo guide personal are well informed of their animals.

I had read some bad reviews about this zoo and was not expecting to have such a great experience. We LOVED it! Admission is very cheap, there is a lot of shade, and it is organized in such a way that makes it very easy to experience. A train basically takes you uphill along a winding road past every animal exhibit quickly. It then drops you off at the highest altitude of the park so you can walk downhill at your own pace past every exhibit. My 4 and 6 year old both got off the train with excitement and ideas of which animals they wanted to go see!

There is a huge playground at the top of the hill that is colorful and fun. There are several clean bathrooms available.

The animals are in large enclosures that are well maintained and surrounded by natural foliage and landscaping. All of the trees are mature and tall, which made it feel like we were exploring in a jungle! We especially loved the hippopotamuses, the rhinoceroses, the jaguar, the large snakes, the hyena, and the herd of red deer.

We highly recommend this zoo to people of all ages!
