I wanted to love this place but they showed up a half an hour late every week and consistently gave us their cars that were in bad shape when they had better ones on the lot. Our friend had the same experience on both accounts. Not super cheap either. Was charged almost $70 for a small scratch from someone backing into me on a car full of scratches and dents. They also give you the cars on empty. If they were cheaper maybe I'd go to them again even with all things considered but there are cheaper options out there.

Highly recommended! Very impressive service!
My accommodation is located in a remote area and the car was dropped at my door step and collect without any extra cost!
Fully insured, no hidden costs, the car was very clean and in good conditions.
You won’t find a better deal in Sosua/Cabarete area. Also the team is very helpful and friendly. Thanks Erika and see you next time.

I rented from OK Motors during my last visit to Cabarete. The car I got was very nice for the price and it included full collision insurance with zero deductible.
The people at OK Motors were friendly and professional in every respect. They delivered the car to me at the airport and I returned it to them there. Throughout the rental, OK Motors was easy to contact using WhatsApp and always responsive to my questions and/or special requests.
All in all it was the most personal and considerate car-rental experience I've ever had, and they beat the multinationals in value for pricing by a country mile.response / report this review -

Amazing service! Renting a vehicle second time in Dominican Republic. The first company we rented from was horrible so my husband and I were very sceptical. So happy we went with OK Motors! The guys checked the tires pressure before giving us the car. The AC was fully loaded and was very cold 😁. The car was pretty clean inside and out. Drove it to Santiago and back with no problem at all! Will definitely be back again!!

Customer service is not in their vocabulary. I rented from them twice each time the car tank was empty. I think when you bring a car back with gas, they take the gas out and put it in their cars, because they are totally focused on money, forget customer service or repeat business. My last rental will be my last, because they said they open at 8am. I was there at 8am, and I owed them DOP 500, I had DOP 1000, they did not have change. I needed a ride back to my hotel, they gave me a ride back, then as soon as I got in my hotel, they lady called me saying I owe DOP 500 and I did not give it to the driver. I said I was just there and you guys did not have change, the driver did not stop for change or said anything. She said come back and give us our money, or we can send the driver back there. First, I am not coming back when I was just there and you did not have change. She got very rude and upset and said forget it and hung up the phone. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICEI was going to rent again from them, but I'll find another company. Companies like this stay in business because people do not require them to change. They come here on vacation and deal with them only one time, but when you are here for a longer period and you deal with companies like this you get to see the real company. To me reviews should be based upon just more then one experience. I also believe a lot of the 5 star reviews are fake, how can a normal person get photos like that and why would they want photos of a car rental place.

Rented two cars for 8 days. Very happy with the experience. They delivered the vehicles on time and picked them up also. Very convenient and helpful when I called in to the office. Great job OK motors!

horrible, horrible, horrible! where should I start. gave me a car with an empty tank. lady waa extremely rude. car was old and dirty!!! worse car rental experience ever!! all these reviews most likely are fake. horrible.

Best rental car place on the North coast of the Dominican Republic . Lots of choice . 24 hour assistance .. do your self a favor don't cut corners on this one .. quality cars honest company reasonable prices ..delivered to you at the airport or your hotel Highly Recommended

Look forward to booking OK Motors during our next trip to Puerto Plata! We were sadly unable to rent from their company during our February 2017 trip due to flight changes that put us flying into Santo Domingo instead. OK Motors staff was very friendly and accommodating. They charged us nothing for the last minute cancellation of our reservation! We begrudgingly resorted to renting a car from Thrifty in Santo Domingo and were wildly ripped off and lied too as we anticipated would happen. I will only be using local car rental companies with transparent prices and policies like OK Motors in the future.

The company offers a large number of cars. They assist you 24 hours with whatever problem you have. They also deliver the car to the are it port or to your hotel. All in all the best choice at the north coast for getting a good quality car at a reasonable price.
