  I didn't realize that the premise for Jurassic park leveraged this museum and 80% of the movie was filmed in Puerto Playa Dominican Republic!!

  Awesome examples of amber. Sales men were a little pushy. Be prepared for the pressured sales tactics.

  Large collection of amber, many pieces with insect and plant inclusions. Worth stopping at if you are in the area.

  Interesting to see the Amber, but it's a short visit. Don't buy souvenirs from the shop. They are overpriced.

  Well worth a visit, very interesting and doesn't take too long. You may need to haggle better than we did, if you want to buy some trinkets.

  La visita se hace rápido. Hay un guía que da algunas explicaciones y luego se pueden ver diferentes tipos de ámbar expuestos.
  Con la entrada te dan un descuento para comprar en la tienda de abajo. El personal fue muy amable. Nosotros fuimos por libre sin tour y resultó interesante aprender algo del país más allá de la playas.
