  Great little place in the Village. Had an authentic Italian vibe. My wife had the gluten free chicken pasta and said it was delicious!! Because there are not many true Italian restaurants that offer gluten free options, she said this was a real treat.
  I had the lasagna and enjoyed it tremendously. Definitely try this place if you are staying in the Punta Cana resort area

  This review is only about the service of the restaurant, because me and my friends didn't have the oportunidad of dinning in. We arrived 15 minutes before the time the kitchen is supposed to closed which is at 11pm. At arrival someone told us they were closed and we were very surprised. One of my friends, a 8 months pregnant woman tried to speak with "the owner" and was told the kitchen was already closed period. No apologies for closing early, not trying to "pretent" to acomodate us. Not even a smile good bye. The "owner" simply left my friend talking alone at the door.

  We will likely not go back due to a huge misunderstanding Waiter made a mistake with our order & refused to make it right. I do not like drama & decided to just let it go,
  Unfortunately it has left a very sour taste for this restaurant & its staff. (Jose)
  I am sure the owners would not have been happy if they saw the poor conduct of their employee.I can only assume they were not aware of the situation. Be very careful as they are all smiles until something goes wrong!

  A great family run Italian restaurant. We tried almost all restaurants in Punta Cana village, and for authentic Italian food, Mamma Lusia is place to go.
