Beautiful rum manufacturing museum. We were given a thorough tour, allowed to try 7 different kinds of rum and had a wonderful time! The gift shop has spectacular prices too.

Wonderful tour and video on the history of the distillery. The whole place has the sweet angel of rum. Of course, the best part was the tasting :). Stay away from the clear run as it's just rubbing alcohol (not really, but it sure does taste like it).

It was a relatively quick and informative tour. Lots of different rums to taste. May I suggest the coconut water rum! When you get to the store you should try the rum infused popsicles.

You may get over excited about going here, but dont!
Pay a small fee, wait for a tour, then you enter what seems like a "haunted house", but in reality you entered into the cask storage barn. You can not see anything except the wooden rum barrels next to you.
The aroma of rum (the angels share) fills the air.
Then a short video and onto the only good part, the tasting!!
After that its over. You get what you pay for basically.

Nothing to write home about! I have been to other distilleries that are amazing. You see the process of how the liquor is made. This was a room full of casks of rum (or not), a movie and tasting of a few different rums.

It's a nice place but the tour wasn't much to speak of. You get shuffled into a theater and watch a 5 minute video then straight to the tasting room. If you aim is to taste the rum then it's worth it but if you want to see the grounds or really get a look into the operations, it's a pretty wimpy tour. Bonus though: The rum is legitimately tasty. :-)

I enjoyed the company I was with but the tour was not very impressive but you do get your moneys worth in tasting the rum

My boyfriend and I did this as part of a City Tour excursion through Air Transat on October 17, 2017. We got to go through the cellar where they age the rum. It is quite dark with only a red light giving some light and you are not allowed to take pictures with your flash on. We were then lead to a room where we also watched a short video (about 7 minutes) about the history of Macroix Rum. After the video, we were led to another room where we got to sample the various rums they make. My favorite was the Rebel rum. It has a hint of spices and Vanilla. We then got to go the gift shop to purchase rum where they also sold popsicles with rum in it! Overall, our experience was good.
