This is a very interesting place because it's a small river that leads directly to the ocean. The water in the river is very cold, like ice water cold. It was mostly Dominican people there when I was there and they were going completely under the water. There is no entrance fee but there's parking for $RD 50 or $RD 100. There are several restaurants that seem to sell the same things which are mostly fish and sea food but there's also chicken. The prices for food are slightly high compared to eating somewhere else in the DR that isn't touristy, about $RD 200 per person. The water is refreshing next to the hot sun and there's an area with lots of colorful and pretty rocks. The actual beach is all rocks and the waves are very large.
Great place to spend an afternoon with the family.
Beatiful and paceful

Perfect to go on saturdays. In sundays there are too many people to enjoy. Be careful of the waves at the beach

Awesome place to visit, beautiful area. Good local seafood as well as typical dishes. The river water is super clear, but colder than usual specially for the Caribbean but is not that badthe rivers goes all the way to the beach. The beach is awesome, super nice waves all the time and the cool breeze is to die for. Will be back!
