Beautiful space. Marc is charming and a great host.
The fish was so fresh and even the cocktails were delicious! A bit pricey, but a great dinner!

I was impressed by the level of service, it was much higher than the average DR one. Great food, nice jazz in the background, and tasty deserts. The prices are European levels but definitely worth it ;)

Amazing food and service. During our vacation in Las terrenas we discovered this hidden gem. Try the half cooked tuna - that is an amazing dish. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience last night in this French owned seafood restaurant. Leveraging the local fresh products, their cuisine is a best of breed mix of Caribbean, Polynesian and French recipes. We ordered "The Tuna sashimi" and "Vol au Vent de Crustaces" for appetizers and we were not disappointed. For entrees I had the chance to order a "Centollo" - king crab - and it was absolutely delicious while my girlfriend was having awesome "Camarones". Wine and cocktails were also a perfect fit for our food. Forget about the restaurants in el pueblo de los pescadores, le Thalassa is by far the best restaurant in las Terrenas.

Our guests at Monte Placido have commented and complimented the quality of the service and cuisine. The restaurant is owned by a French couple that take pride in blending french "savoir faire" with a flair of creole/tropical tastes.
The restaurant is located on Plya Las Ballenas on of the nicest beaches of Las Terrenas
