This place isn't what it used to be. It used to be filled with young, cool people, but now it's filled with old men and prostitutes. What's even worse, all the cocktails they serve are made of premixed drinks in plastic bags, with no to little alcohol. We couldn't taste the rum in any of the cocktails we ordered, and when we complained the bartender just argued with us for 10 minutes before we gave up and left. Won't come back here again. Lax is history.

The best coconut, passion fruit mojito I have ever had in my whole life. Plus a great dance scene at night. The music is a good mix of meringue, bachata, salsa, reggeton, hip hop and techno. I always have a great time when I go.

I ordered the Jerk Chicken. It was very good and I have no complaints about the food or the vibe at this place. However, the service here is typical Dominican. Somewhere between terrible and non-existant. If you're patient, eventually you'll get your food. And if you ask for your check after the meal, eventually it will come also. Disregard that servers who don't care, and ignore the employee's that are ignoring you while they play on their cell phones, and you'll be just fine here.
