I will rate the HOMS 5 stars because as soon as you walk in you are greeted with a warm smile anything or any doctor you need is there Hygiene is great very professional staff and doctors they do accept insurance. I do highly recommend the HOMS.
The hospital is loaded with the newest technology and the best doctors. The wait in some departments such as imaging and preoperative can be extremely long. The reason for the 3 stars are the nurses in the post surgery floor (i think it was 11th floor). They are the worst noncaring individuals i have ever met. I have NEVER in my life experienced pain thru simple IV until they treated me. The only nice nurse that helped me was Ana Christina and yet another lying nurse wrote her up stating something that was not true while she took care of me. The other nurses simply didnt care about anything. I spoke to them and they wouldnt even turn their head to look at me; thank God i was with my mother. This hospital has so much potential but they need to get caring and educated nurses on that floor because staying overnight after surgery is very expensive and the attention those nurses provide is rotten.
I can say I have been almost to every clinic in Santiago and always come out with at least something negative from all. When I go to HOMS from the front desk, to the secretary, the doctor, the cafeteria even the cleaning ladies you get a nice welcome even if they might be having a bad day because we all do at some point. You can even walk into a bathroom in this place and don't have to feel disgusted, the doctor offices are all also so nice and clean, you can even find wifi outside in case of any emergency while you wait, you feel like you eating in a High quality restaurant even in their cafeteria, you find iceream, coffee, and anything while you feel you have to spend a whole day in a clinic. The emergency they don't just take you and leave you there if it's a real emergency everything is taken care of you get to see your results they have everything you need, labs, pharmacy and I can say anything you can possibly need in a hospital. The doctors so far all the ones I've been with, very professional and educated and have no complaints on nothing. When I walk into another clinic I feel with so much regret of not coming here and still end up here.
I went for cardiovascular tests, but never received the test results. No explanation was given after many inquiries.
This is the hospital you want to go to. Just bring a credit card. Private comfortable rooms that feel more hotel like.
The customer service is very good in some areas and they take good care of you
This hospital let my poor grandmother die in the ER last month. While the staff was chatting and on their phones, she suffocated to death while waiting. Even her own ICU doctor told our family to file a complaint, she wasn't supposed to die if she was given the right care on time. I hope this stays on their conscious for the rest of their lives. The ICU doctor even told my family this wasn't the first time someone died in the ER due to negligence when they could've been saved.
Amazing service. High tech equipment.
THIS HOSPITAL is the worst they are horrible , try calling them on the phone NO one will help you i have been trying to set an appointment for WEEKS , i drove there in person 2.5 hours to be told "our xray is broken "

My grandfather received quality care from the doctors at Hospital Metropolitano. Furthermore, I received great dental care from Dr. Pascale Toribio. For that, I can attest that you can find quality health care here.

The HOMS (Hospital Metropolitano de Santiago) Hospital is the most technologically advanced institute of the city of Santiago. It is also holds high sanitary standards and has a nice structural design overall!
