A nice hotel. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Willing to go above and beyond to make you enjoy your stay. Nice location. Close to the beach and convenient shopping store within reach. I enjoyed their service

Had a late check-in. Arrived at the Hotel Primaveral after traveling for 4hrs only to find out my room reservation through Expedia was not honored and no rooms were available. The hotel was over sold. After arriving at Hotel Primaveral I found one staff member lying on a lobby sofa sleeping and the front desk clerk had to be woken up. Hotel says no Expedia reservation existed although I had Expedia confirmation. Apparently there is a system problem between the Expedia reservation system and Hotel Primaveral. Overall very rough neighborhood. Security guard walks around carrying a loaded shotgun. Needless to say I will not be back.

This is a budget hotel. Don't expect anything beyond that. But some basic maintenance could be performed once in a while. But the staff is very friendly and helpful.
Con:
Furniture and fixtures are aged and or neglected.
Ie. The fridge has mold around the magnetic strip, there is a lamp with a cable cut off, the door needs to be pushed with your shoulder to close completely, shower faucets are calcified and rusty. Soap dispenser where empty. Shower curtain was broken in some areas.
And on a bit creepy note all the peep holes are installed inside out. So people outside can peep into your room but you can't look out (when you look into the room everything is too blurry to be able to make out anything)
Pros:
We inspected the beds and found no bed bugs (But then again we did feel the need to inspect them).
There is an A/C and a ceiling fan.
There is hot water.
Sheets are clean.
There is a TV.
The staff helped us get milk late at night for our daughter delivered to our room from the colmado.
