  If you're feeling brave and venturing off deeper into Santo Domingo, I do not recommend this hotel. They over chargedy credit card for the hotel stay by $200 and refuse to fix the error. The first night, I was welcomed by a world record large size cockaroach. The staff are extremely rude and zero appreciation for tourists. They just want your money and they do not believe in customer service at this place.

  The hotel is safe, clean, has a friendly and helpful staff, and is located in Zona Colonial. The room and bathroom are small, but sufficiently sized for one person. The hotel is centrally located near shops, a grocery store, and bars. The hotel has 5 floors and does not have an elevator. The hotel serves a continental breakfast that consist of toast, coffee, juice and fruit.

  This place is not really well located.In a dity and noisy neighborhood you should not expect a good sleeping night. Also, the breakfast is not a buffet, you get two slices of bread,butter, a sliced banana, coffee and that's it. Last but not least, the employees do not speak english.

  Awful place! Stay away if you value your security. Really bad area, disrespectful employees, disgusting building... This is a five story building and no elevator. The location is super noisy and dangerous. I found them in Priceline and they are advertised as a 3 star hotel I don't know how is this possible, it's not even a half star hotel, I bought 5 nights trusting Priceline star rating and was a terrible mistake. After one night I wanted to leave for all the reasons above plus the fact that I have a bad knee and there is no elevator (also my room was the size of a closet without ac, just a fan) the front desk told me I could leave and I would have a refund for the remaining nights if I called Priceline, lies!!! I called Priceline for my refund and Priceline called the hotel so they authorize the refund but they denied it, I called the hotel and asked what happened then they said call Priceline ( again ) and we will authorize the refund, so I did and from Priceline they told me the hotel refused again! I called the hotel a third time and they said sorry we won't refund cause you should know the hotel didn't have elevator... They made me waste my time and money talking lies. Be aware this is a terrible, dangerous located place with 0 customer service.

  The hotel is clean and compact. It is near the Colonial Zone in Santo Domingo although it is in a more residential and near an ugly area ( and dirty) .
  
  The employees are nice and friendly. The only thing that i didnt like is that my cousin came to stay with me to hang out and they charge me 20$ per night for the person to stay . One night we didnt sleep there because we were partying and they said they would not credit the money. This makes them seem very desperate for 20 dollars instead of building a relationship with the customer. This hotel would be my last choice in Santo Domingo . It is near a very trashy and dangerous area. The hotel management should consider their practices.
  
  El hotel es limpio y compacto. Está cerca de la zona colonial en Santo Domingo, aunque está en un más residencial y cerca de una zona fea (y sucio).
  
  Los empleados son agradables y amables. Lo único que no me gustó es que mi primo vino a quedarse conmigo para pasar el rato y me cobran 20 $ por noche para la persona para alojarse. Una noche no dormimos allí porque estábamos fiesta y nos dijeron que no crédito el dinero. Esto los hace parecer muy desesperados por 20 dólares en lugar de construir una relación con el cliente. Este hotel sería mi última opción en Santo Domingo. Está cerca de una zona muy trashy y peligroso. La dirección del hotel debe considerar sus prácticas

  Horrible hotel. Would not recommend it. Stayed here because it was the nearest one to the place I was going (walking distance), and it was awful. I do admit that the location is great, but still bad. Something they don't tell you while booking, is that they don't charge for the room, they charge for the amount of people going and if a relative or someone comes over and stays past 8-9 pm, you have to pay for them too. Really bad experience.

  To have guests I have to pay $20 if they over stay after 2 hours, the breakfast sucks, I don't consider toast, jelly and butter, coffee and juice as a real breakfast, I'm stuck here until Sunday 5 more nights to go, in my own Jail cell, Can't have friends over, I suffer of anxiety, I can't take it anymore, came here to socialize and meet new people, I'm on a budget so I'm stuck cause this country doesn't give refunds. Rather go to Hotel Discovery they accept company and aren't shady about it, I feel like I'm in a brothle house, I never heard of paying for guest to visit you, i love america

  This hotel has a very good staff, great service, clean and fresh environment.... the location is near everything, you even get breakfast delivered to your room and Security all day.
