Must see!
The most beautyful view you can ever emagine. No, its more, its unreal. Its more than perfect. Its more than amazing. No words can describe it.
To bad its very hard to reach it without a tuff jeep. The road up is terrible. Its more than terrible. Its a mystery why.
To bad all staff its not more proffessional. But the owner is a perfect chef and the food is very tasty. And all with resonable prices.
To bad there is cats and dogs inside this nice little resturant.
This resturant could have 7 stars of 5! But they missed open goal. But its still a must see, why not in the sunset..response / report this review -

Breathtaking views, amazing food, and personal service. Pierre and Vanina have created something wonderful in the mountains of Samaná. The drive to get there - on winding, unmarked, unpaved roads - just adds to the experience. We both had variations of pad thai, which were delicious. Make sure you arrive during daylight to catch the gorgeous sunset - and trust Pierre's food recommendations!

Words cant describe the view, the food was amazing and the attention we received from the chef himself was outstanding, one of the most memorable places i have been to. If you are in the are this is a must do.

This is by far the most unique location where we ever had diner! El Monte Azul is situated on a 260 meter high hill close to Las Galeras. A bit difficult to reach by car, but 200% worth it. The uniqueness of the location comes down to the 360 degree view that you have of the area, which is stunning to say the least. If it's the right time if the year, you can even see whales jumping up from the water. The French/Thai fusion cooking of Pierre and Vanina is packed full of flavor with home grown herbs. From the subtle amazing taste of the Lion fish to the gorgeous Royal pad Thai, Beef tenderloin, Crème brulee and Chocolate mousse, they were all fingerlicking good! Next to this, Pierre and Vanina are very charismatic hosts who will make sure you will have an amazing time. All together, this is definitely a gem and a one of a kind experience which you will never forget!
