It's a very nice and historic park, if you are in la romana, for holiday don't miss to visit this park, caribean cruise ship and some other cruise ship i don't remember there name , always stop at the la romana touristic cruise port.

Place to relax during the day. Good ambience, fresh air and lot of commuters. Not recommended to visit after 6:pm.

Not the most safe place. Watch your belongings. When cruises come to the city they open lots of gift shops. City band plays on Sunday's afternoon.

First, don't get too excited, it's not a big park. Its just the size that you see on Google maps. There are lots of benches with shady trees where you can sit and relax. The park is well maintained. It is normally cleaned and the lawn and plants well kept. The Dominicans are very prideful of there park. As such on any given day you can find a group of people sitting g and chatting. On the days that the ship docks in La Romana you can find tents with souvenirs to buy from. Also there is entertainment with persons dancing traditional Dominican music.

This park is very nice and clean I invite you to come and visit the park. Founded in 1910 and still looks excelent.

Love the park, has a nice plaza in the center. During holidays this place is packed with all sorts of touristic attractions showing off their country culture. No need to worry about being mugged, cause there is a police officer at every corner of the park at almost all times.
