Awesome time with the dolphins and trainers. That was the only great thing about it. The prices are way too high especially for pictures. $140 usd for a CD and a few physical copies. I'm extremely disappointed in myself for doing it but wouldn't have any memories from this if I didn't. Some staff were rude and I got the sense we were an inconvenience when asking questions.

Amazing experience! My boyfriend and I purchased our tickets before with the picture package which was totally worth it! The photographers captured great pictures and didn’t miss one thing. Our guide was Jesus and his dolphin was Goya. If you have the chance, try to get in his group! Personally, comparing to other groups I think he was the best guide there. He sang, danced, made jokes and made it the best experience I could have asked for. After everything was over, we got to review our pictures and have them all put onto a cd and had one printed for free. Definitely would recommend this place!!

The dolphin experience was wonderful. The facility was very clean. Did the 30 interactive one got to kiss and dance with dolphins. Pet him a few times and dolphins did tricks for us. No Cameras aloud at all. Photos are ridiculously priced. And we received no photo. Only a disc and email. Which I guess is fine. Can print the ones we want at home.

We really enjoyed our experience with the dolphins - our trainer was great, friendly, knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure we learnt about the dolphins and had a good experience. The facility is also very nice - clean, with a nice restaurant, shower/ changing facilities and a pool. The one negative was the photos - they don’t let you take your own so we bought the photo package. The process of actually getting your pictures was extremely disorganized and confusing. Other than that it was a great experience

I wish I could rate the pool experience separately from the rest of the business. I would give the trainers and dolphins 5 stars, the rest of the business is a nightmare. Disorganized all around, hard to tell what exactly you're supposed to do or where to go. We were missed when everyone got separated into groups even though we were with everyone. We were one of the first few to choose our pictures (which are insane prices) but the guy that put our order through screwed up so after waiting in line we find out our pics weren't there. We were told to go back and do it again. Then we are behind everyone, numerous employees said they are working on getting our 2 printed pics but we just waited and waited, so long that our bus driver was telling us we had to go. The business side is disorganized and employees seem to lack training which ruins the enjoyment of the experience.

My Husband and I purchased this excursion and we were very pleased with the experience. We bought the Premium package, so we were able to do more with Dolphins and we had a blast! The package also included photos of us. The staff, and our trainer were great! They explained the tricks with the dolphins thoroughly and demonstrated all that we would be doing with the Dolphins! You're not allowed to use your phone/camera to take own photos, they have professionals taking your pictures near the pool. & don't forget to bring your own towel, lockers are provided there.

We had arrived at this facilaty as a family of 5 today. Our son was so excited to spend the 40 minutes with Dolphin. We had never experienced swimming with the dolphins, so we had gone with the smallest interaction package. Upon our arrival we were immediately approached by sales reps to add more onto our already purchased package, which we declined. Seeing and being able to pet and touch the dolphins was amazing however being hurded around for the several photos was not expected nor was it appreciated . We had already spent $500.00 as a family to enter the park and got to spend less than 5 minutes actually interacting with the dolphins. Interacting with the dolphins was all about posing for the cameras.
My son wanted a single photo of him and the dolphin to take back to school to show his class, so we had inquired about the photo packages . They stated the packages were $300.00 USD which was absolutely outrageous , we had told them "no thank you", which at this point they had begun to bargain the prices lower. We still told them "no thank you" as they were still too high. I had asked what 1 photo would cost and we were told $15.00 USD so I had said I would take 1 photo of my son and the dolphin however the price of $15.00 did not include a photo of the dolphin 1 photo with the dolphin would cost $39.00 + taxes. I was so discusted by the prices of photos at this time we had to just leave. Puting both my son and I in tears that we did not even have a photo of our experience at the end and he has nothing to show his class. If we would have purchased photos this would have put us at $1,000 CND for a "40 minute " experience.
After our own terrible experience we have read reviews further , and have noticed the managment of this company has only responded to "5 star reviews " and never a sincere apology to any negative experiences . Which leaves me to beleive they are not at all interested in rectifying any of the tourist or regular visitors concerns.response / report this review -

Great experience playing with dolphins in little groups of 8 people for 1 dolphin. A bit too commercial with staff being too pushy with the photos at enormous prices. A pity they don't propose cheaper options regarding the photos they would sell much more and make everyone happy. Drink menu without prices was also interesting part of the experience

I just returned from Dolphin Discovery Punta Cana a few minutes ago.
Our family is a bit upset.
When we arrived we were told that no cellphones or cameras were allowed, but we were never told when we purchased the tickets. We came with our cellphone ready to take our own pictures, but weren’t allowed.
Very important to mention that this place is a pool, not the place you expect to see dolphins. It’s next to a highway.
Nice show, but the pictures is a full rip-off.
The prices here are exuberantly high.

We purchased this tour at the airport at a Legendary company desk.
We explained this at the Dolphin place, but they said nothing could be done:
- “Rules are Rules. They should have told you.”
- “No refunds. Take it or leave it.”
As you guess, we were already there and had to take it. Not even a discount.
A few minutes later there was another couple histerically mad at the place management.
Really. I should receive a refund or at least the pictures.

The park is great staff was fun and polite. If you like to wake bored or ski it's awesome. But it is priced for tourist.

Great experience but definitely too expensive. This guys are masters in gaining money for every breath you may take; my 3 years old kid paid the same as me
I can't attach any photo, it's impossible to take any you can just buy: 39USD each!!!
But, apart of this (if possible) it was an amazing experience to be kissed by a sea lion and swim for half an hour with two nice dolphins.
5 stars for the activities, less then zero for the cost.

A once in a lifetime experience! My teenage children loved it and will never forget it. For $140 we got 33 pictures on a CD plus 6 prints. The trainers also invited the parents who did not participate to the edge of the pool to interact & touch the dolphins. This excursion is worth your time & money!!! Thank you to the kind dolphin trainers & all employees at Dolphin Discovery for a memorable experience!

This experience was absolutely amazing. The trainer was excellent and the dolphins were incredible and stunning. The facilities are nice and the sweet dolphins seem extremely well loved by all of the staff and visitors. I know the subject of captivity is a touchy one - but the trainer truly loved the dolphins he was working with. This was a once in a lifetime experience and I'm so glad I chose Dolphin Discovery. Dolphins are every bit as sweet and breathtaking as you'd imagine and I'm so thankful I took a chance on this excursion!

The place is lovely, loads of clean space a nice little pool for a dip, drinks and food as well. Really enjoyed the time with the dolphins and it felt like plenty of time as well (we did the dolphin adventure package, the middle one) even my 5 year old was able to do it all and she cannot swim without swim aids there was help on hand for her to do the activities. Only point I would note is bring lots of money or a card cause the photos are mega expensive and you will most likely want a few ($40 dollars a print when I went). Overall though would definitely recommend if you want to meet dolphins.

The facility was beautiful, the dolphin trainers were excellent and really care for the animals. Ours was Jesus and he was funny, helpful and made the experience so positive. We were there with a large family group consisting of a mix of adults and young children and we were all accommodated. Even the family members who watched were able to be right up by the pool and see everything. Unfortunately the photos are extremely expensive and you cannot take your own but we were able to buy just one. It was well worth the money, we will never forget this once in a lifetime experience and highly recommend this location. There is also a beautiful pool and restaurant area outside the dolphin pool that we were welcomed to spend the rest of the day at while we waited for our ride back.

I had the most wonderful experience with Dolphin Discovery. I was amazed with the level of assistance in booking this function. I was astounded by the staff and specifically the dolphin trainers. They really do love their dolphins, and that's a very important part of all this.

It is great in its service. They have a way of making the client feel very welcome, and the swimming experience with the dolphins is GREAT. I have done it myself for about 5 times.
It is the best dolphin park in Punta Cana. I have tried all three.
Some people think that the experience in a pool would not be so good as in the sea. It is just the same experience. Because when you go swim in the sea, you will also be in an enclosure(sometimes smaller than this HUGE pool!)
