  Pink Flamengos in the wild are the hot sell here. If you're a bird /nature lover you're going to like this place. But you will have to go with a mandatory guide which isn't necessary very informative. Our wasn't. He spent more time trying to get us to hire him for the Bahia de las Aguilas than telling us anything about this place!
  Still, it's a pretty place.
  You will be strongly pushed to take the boat tour - up to 3 hours. We were late in the day so we asked to walk the shore instead to enjoy the sunset. We really had to fight to get to walk, the guides seemed to be not too keen to walk! Yes there's mud but it's very pleasant since the water is always below knee deep.
  Spending the day here with canoes (and mosquito repellent) would be the best setting. Maybe in the future?
