A fantastic project surrounded by unmatched natural beauty. The staff is friendly and dedicated, always willing to help with information, bonfires, and more. The food is healthy and delicious, prepared using only natural ingredients, often from the garden on site. The homemade bread is delicious! Lodging is in either budget-friendly wooden cabins or more comfortable cabins with mountain views and indoor bathrooms. Talk to the staff for a guided hike to the Tayota waterfall, or follow canine guide Viejo on a shorter hike to a closer waterfall that's excellent for swimming. For the nature-conscious, adventurous traveler, Centro Verde is a must-see!

Absolutely amazing place: surroundings are fantastic, the people are very nice and the hostel is very clean and beautiful. You can make beautiful hikes in the mountains from here that are quite heavy. No hot water and quite the trip though, so only for adventure minded people.
