Nice caves with taino's big painting.
The tree's roots are so cool
but it's pity that we can't take photos inside,

Our tour was excellent! We really enjoyed the cave drawings. The caves are beautiful! If you like nature and culture, this is a must when in Dominican Republic.

Such a great place 😍 I love it! Always stop here on the way to Santo Domingo from Punta Cana - just to relax for a few minutes, go to the bathroom, etc. If I had time- always go inside, there’s cheap prices if you have Cedula. Inside is amazing, I love it!

Amazing looking cave in good conditions. Nice English speaking guide, ticket was 200 peso per adult what is very affordable,
friendly for families with young kids (younger than 12 years - free entrance), nice clean park in front of cave, place full of iguanas at the end Crazy stuff in all positive sense!response / report this review -

The cave looks amazing, very beautiful view and vibe you get inside. The guide was very friendly and respectful to me with my zero knowledge of Spanish (he explained everything twice, English and Spanish). The price is very reasonable and at the same time the place wasn't packed with tourists.
Although you can see iguanas after the cave.

This is a wonderful place to visit to see the wonders of nature. Those caves are naturally made and with so much besuties and history inside of it. Its perfect and the services and prices are reasonable. They treat you with respect and friendly.

No cameras? Even without flash. Silly rule probably designed to get tourists to buy photos. Also the lights in the cave were pretty intermittent. The Taino cave drawings look a little suspiciousI suspect that Columbus made these with black spray paint after drinking too much rum, but with poor lighting and no cameras allowed I will never know. YawnDont waste your time.

Very nice place for a quick tour located in La Romana, DR. It is a 30 minute drive from Boca Chica and about and hour from Santo Domingo and is very easy to find using Google maps. The tour is in a limestone cave so it is very wet and water drips everywhere. Definitely wear sneakers. There are also bats flying above you in the cave so beware. They also offer horseback riding on the grounds which was a hidden gem. The ride is on a trail path cut in the woods and ends on an old airport strip. The cost for a 30 minute ride was only 200 pesos (around $5 US currency) That majes this a must visit. If you are staying near, but take the ride yourself as your guides charge considerably more for the same thing.

A great place to visit, well worth the entrance fee.
Set in lovely grounds with a very informative guided tour (in multiple languages) of the caves and a little about Taino history. No photography is allowed in the caves but the tour is accessible.response / report this review -

Great place to visit if your cruising in to La Romana ..If your in port here make sure you do an excursion nothing else to do at port besides a little shopping
