Our room wasn't ready at 3 pm, the actual check-in time. At the check-in they said the rooms were ready, telling us to go out to get the keys, and the staff took us to our unprepared rooms. We were driving around waiting for our rooms, by the time we got to the beach after getting the rooms, the sun was already out In the menu, when you scan the qr code in the room, it's clearly written that the breakfast is available in the Minitas beach club and restaurant. We planned to have breakfast by the beach. We went to the beach restaurant and they told us they have no food, no breakfast. We called the reception, they said it's 1 month old. Why isn't it updated? Next, they tell us to come to the main area, to the restaurant. They have no idea what's going on. We waited 15 more minutes for them to coordinate. Finally they serve us breakfast. The qr code in the room, official hotel information says clearly that the breakfast is available in 2 locations, until 12 and 11. There is only one place, until 11. If you visit, call the reception to check every information. Stress.

Nice resort for golfers. A bit higher end than I was expecting. Beware as the Resort owners feel the need to charge $20 per person per night for renting from one of the villas. Seems to be the DR theme. take, take money. Overall a nice area and secure.

I am very impressed with Casa de Campo. Been visiting for several years now. But you can really see some nice improvements. Especially the pool at the beach club. Really great spa treatments. Will return just for that. And now they just scan your identification at the gate (bravo!). Keep up the good work Casa de Campo.

Beautiful place excellent service all staff members are great! I stayed for 14 days the restaurants serve good food I felt home far away from home in luxury. Housekeeping is excellent to and the gentleman that help you with the luggage when you get there. Also visit the SBG at the Marina beautiful view (Security on the main entry gate is sometimes stricter than CBP I notice when you look (like a local in my case) but I understand they are doing there job.

Beautiful little village, you can go there to get married, to get some food or drinks. The view is amazing. But it's pretty expensive, if you go alone you have to pay 25$ for the entry. But if you are into photography it's really a must go. If you are near make sure to check it out.

For the feel of a tropical island resort with beautiful beaches, top golf course designs, amenities like horseback riding and skeet shooting accompanied with elaborate dining experiences at multiple sites, Casa de Campo exceeds the expectation.
Pete Dye produced arguably some of his best here. Teeth of the Dog is so exhilarating with the holes along the ocean, yes. But the Links, Dye Fore up by the Altos de Chavon village (this is worth the trip alone) and the underrated La Romana CC.
I shall return!

Very luxurious place. the scenery the food the drinks were fantastic, the locals were very friendly and courteous they did their utmost to accommodate your needs. The only problem I had was with the hotel front desk. If you book a room there make sure you get what you are paying for

The weather in February has been perfect every day. The pool is relaxing. The beach is beutiful with great service and delicious food. I love having a golf cart to get around. This resort is huge and fabulous.

I have mixed feelings about this resort. Great staff, service, and a memorable golf course. The restaurants were all good to great. Really loved the new beach club. I felt the resort did not handle our room reservation well and felt they tried to upcharge us every step of the way. We went all inclusive. This place could be a 5 if they just simplified the experience and treated everything as all inclusive and made the upcharge aspects obvious. I like to assume positive intent, but it happens often enough where you feel on edge.

Great golf, staff is easy to understand. No hitches at all. Only quirk is the gps in the golf cartsnot a very well thought out system. Otherwise, top notch ask the way. Good for relaxing.

I visited Casa de Campo with 17 other family members for 10 days, to include Christmas Eve & Day. We stayed in a large home with staff to cook and maintain the property. They worked well, however we had difficulty communicating with them as they do not speak any English and we don't speak any Spanish. Other employees throughout the resort speak English, so we got by everywhere else. Some of the shops will provide a currency conversion to DR pesos, but they also accept US dollars (I'm not sure about other currency). Altos de Chavon is gorgeous and unique, with boutiques, touristy shops, art, and delicious restaurants. The beach is relaxing, but arrive early if you expect it to be a busy day.

Nice villages for rent. You need an authorization pass to be able to enter to this complex (that's a plus for security). Staff is usually polite. You will need a private car or an authorized driver to be able to enter.

Nice amenities, Beach sucks ! I am a beach person. Food is good. I would recommend a visit, some of the villas to rent are really nice. I didn't feel that the resort is very kind to locals, unless your very rich.

First of all Don't know why they would call this hotel luxurious , I was there for 6 days my room look like a old nasty smelling house bathroom was gross dead bugs everywhere inside my room. The bathroom tub had a huge stain felt like I was going to catch a bacteria in it . I complained about it and they claimed they were going to update my room and they never did . Everything is far you have to drive their old golf cart to get somewhere . Food is over priced. I hated it there will not be coming back. I will post pics of the hotel bathroom in my room don't waste your money if you don't look rich or have a American last name they will place you in the worst room . I say that because my friend and I booked the same room and her looked like the picture on the booking site mine look like the house of horror I forgot to mention that they mow the lawn at 8 a.m. I have pictures if you need prove don't stay here .

Beautiful resort. Each room comes with its own golf cart. The front desk isn't always knowledgeable, though, so make sure your coordinator or travel agent confirmed any activities you may have signed up for.

Secured a reservation for the restaurant Las Canes, here for dinner and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent and the service was top notch. Joel was great and very attentive. We ate on the second level over-looking the pool area. Although it was well after sundown the area was well lit. The overall experience was well worth the price.

My rating for this place is poor simply because from a place of such prestige you would expect great customer service. When you call people hang up, some never answer, others never reply to your questions. The entry process was so not organized. Guards tell you to pull over to the side instead of helping out to find why your name is not on the list. The place is beautiful! Our host and where we stayed were amazing but they need alot of work on there customer service skills ASAP!

We rented a house on the fourth fairway of Teeth of the Dog with three other couples for a golf outing. It was an amazing 6 bedroom house with a pool and great views of the ocean and the course. With a butler, cook and maid included in the price (you pay for food but they get it) we got up, had a great breakfast, played golf, came home for lunch, swam or explored in the afternoon and ate dinner at home. The one night we went out dinner cost half as much as the food for the rest of the week. Best golf trip ever!

This is a great place to go if you want a touristy-local experience. The area is secluded enough to feel you are in a resort, but the town is only 15 minutes away if you want to hang out with locals. Will say though, so stay here is it pretty expensive, but you can buy a package online, including on AirBnB.

We come here year after year to visit and it's our families favorite place to stay together. We have unforgettable memories here that will last a lifetime. Things are very pricy here but if you have the money then it's worth it. If you are on a budget that may be very difficult here. Overall great place for individuals to come or families. Beautiful resort.
