  Belleza natural en la misma ciudad de Santo Domingo Este. Fácil de llegar y acceso. Cuenta con parqueo. No se cobra entrada. Normalmente hay muchas personas en el balneario. Cuenta con circuito para hacer MTB. Hay algunas zonas de lugar que no son 100% seguras a pesar de haber seguridad.

  Hermoso parque nacional, con un recorrido muy interesante por el terreno irregular y la hermosa vegetación con la que cuenta. Se encuentra a la orilla del río ozama. Sentarse en este parque es un regalo

  It is an awesome place to spend the day with the familly, we went and we had a really good time. The only sad thing is that people told us that is dangerous to go alone or small group when is not a day full of people (like weekends) because there's been some thefts . So be careful and dont stay alone late night.

  Beautiful place. Although it's next to the Ozama River, which is highly contaminated, the clear water that emmanates from the ground into the river are great for swimming in. El Cachón is right next to los Minas which is a dangerous barrio and visitors are exposed to being robbed if are not careful. If you want to visit I suggest going in a group with someone who knows the place. With that being said, it's very pretty. I go there all the time with my cycling friends, we go for a swim and the go back home. To date we have not been mugged but we know of people who have been. They went on their own or with a friend.
