The car we requested wasn’t ready for the time we reserved and it took Budget four hours to find a replacement! The worst part was that they kept saying it would only be 20 more minutes every time we asked about the status. If you value your time and expect your car to be ready at the time you ask, look for another company.

No up the standards of the U.S locations. Deposits are exessive and Online Estimated cost are ignored. They charge you whatever they want, make up false fees; A true ripoff

Prices are different from the website! Take this into consideration when renting. The best way is to call them to be sure about the final costs.

This company is the worst rental car company around. They hold 1500 dollars on your credit card as a guarantee and won't let you pay with another. The price you get quoted online is not the price you get at the store. I got quoted 157 dollars and when I went in the we're charging me 240. They're a rip off. They tell you that the website is American based and doest reflect dominican price and taxes. The attendant didn't do much to get me to rent. He didn't care. Don't be fooled go to another one.

If you wish to rent with this company, be extremely careful. We were told we couldn't decline basic insurance, which we usually do because our credit card has a rental car insurance policy. Then when we returned the car they "found" some damage (basic tire wear and tear) that was not covered by the insurance. Of course our credit card would not cover it because, we paid for the basic insurance. If you do rent from them, inspect the car from head to toe before you take it out (I'd recommend taking photos) and purchase the company's insurance (which is by the way astronomically priced). BEWARE OF SCAMS. If something sounds fishy, just go to a different company. If you do get scammed, don't expect Budget customer service to be very helpful.
