  Beach bar/grill and expat hangout.
  A large plate of fish and chips was tasty and cost about 8 USD.
  Big Lee is typically there and is both friendly and easily identifiable.

  Loved the place, loved Big Lee! We had sea bass, fresh cut potato French fries and home made tarter sauce. Gotta visit!

  Prob the best fried fish I've EVER had. Onion rings and french fries were amazing as well. Everything was perfect. Great, friendly atmosphere.

  Looked this place up on Trip Advisor a couple of weeks ago and I was not disappointed. Big Lee is very personable and his establishment is located right on the coast. You can see Neptune (Poseidon) from the tables toward the back. The food is freshly made and DELICIOUS. The tartar sauce has larger chunks of pickles, which I found great. The portions are great for a good price! RD and USD are taken here

  Stopped in on a jaunt down the Malecon with my parents who highly recommended it. Wait staff was friendly and the grilled ham and cheese was a nice simple lunch with that "taste of home". Definitely worth a stop!

  BIG Lee's is a fantastic gem of a spot in Puerto Plata on the beach near Neptune's rock island. Lee the owner is fabulous and the food is outstanding! Hey if you come to Puerto Plata, You gotta eat here! Saturday night is karaoke night - don't miss it!

  I visited Big Lee's Beach Bar twice in April 2016. Not only was the food superb, Big Lee personally greeted our group and made us feel more than welcome. The fist and chips are first class and the burgers are second to none. If you're in Puerto Plata, it's a must visit!
