Vacation Express got us to go saying we had free transportation. It was not what I expected at all! Very pushy trying to get you to buy things. Most overpriced but I did get some things inexpensive. Sunscreen is very cheap, here! The museum isn't really a museum I'd suggest shopping elsewhere. They said they'd be back in 1.5 hours for us and we waited closer to 2.5. We were done shopping after 45 mins so that was frustrating when they were late. The only reason they get 3 stars is because I liked my earrings, free WiFi, and they gave us free bottled water when we were waiting for our ride back.
Prices way too high, need to go through a little museum of cigars before you shop (which is a nice concept) and its almost everything you can find in your resort other then coffee beans and cloths. Personally don't think it's a great place to go off the resort to shop.
Hand made Cigar was fantastic.
Customer Service by La Diva (Yoselin) was extraordinary
Good selection, prices are a bit high compared to other local places that sell souvenirs.
Trust me, Do not go!!! 1. Cigar overpriced 2 u have to stay shop for 1.5 hour then they will send you to the hotel. Free transportation between hotel and shop. But u must stay in the shop for 90 mins!!! Worth it—u decide it ? I saw almost 90% people did not purchase anything and almost everybody were feel trapped !!! I come from Canada and went to Mexico, cuba, Jamaica before. This is first time happen in my life. very very sad and bad shopping experience, especially with kids waiting for 90 mins :((
Careful travellers. It's a tourist trap. Lol. However they did have some nice nick nacks for gifts for ppl back home.
Very pleasant and helpful staff. Products a little expensive at least for me!
Just an oversized over priced gift shop
Nice place to shop in the DR.
Free ride from resorts, but I'm sure they're compensated for the referrals. Nice safe place for souvenirs, but a bit pricey. Free cheap cigars and chocolate samples.
Tourist trap wanted to go to a local market but ended up here. The staff were friendly though.
It's good place
Good museums and cheap prices
Very expensive and same things as found on my resort.
Very expensive place for locally made goods
It is a tourist trap but they have two interesting little museum about chocolate and Larimar there.
Un sitio donde comprar Recuerdos de República Dominicana, licores y demás! Con excelente atención de su personal y amplio espacio, excelente Variedad de productos y una buena exposición de los mismos.
Best prices!
We were held against our will!! We asked to leave and security refused to let us out. They held us here for an hour and a half. STAY AWAY!!!
We got tricked into coming from the resort. Probably too late too warn you if you're already reading this review. Good free samples
