Great place to learn about history, architecture, and the amber mined in the Dominican Republic. Lots of really beautiful amber jewelry for sale.

Amazing experience ! Go to see Amber & Larimar !
I've had a very nice time over there.
The guides Brunilda, and Alejandra are very friendly.
They know their jobs well with many info to share !
This museum is big comparing to others one.
You can buy beautiful Amber & Larimar too.
I definitely recommend this place to visit.

Fantastic touristic landmark. We visited while in Santo Domingo and had a great time learning about Dominican Amber, where's it's recovered from and the many uses it has in jewelry and medicine. The staff was both knowledgeable and very helpful. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

the museum is small but nice, gift shop has a nice collection of artistic souvenirs at good affordable prices, the inner courtyard is artistically laid out

Bien organizado, la atención que brindan a los visitantes es muy buena tienen un buen guía que nos mostró toda el área tienen muy buena exhibición de larimar y ámbar tambien hay piedras a la venta.
