The food tasted bad, they brought out the wrong food. They remodeled and the prices are too high. $540 for two pasteles and two juices.

Very nice place to eat "Pastele en hojas" which is similar to Tamales thei have big ones and small, so tastie and clean, is somenthing you must eat in that town

Great place for pastels in hoja, Been coming here since late 80ties. Locals eatery. When you park your car kids hanging out to wash car or ask for money can be annoying, but that is a common occurrence especially at locals restaurants.

Don't know better Pasteles in the whole country. Price is ok. The place is appropriate for their business. Customer service is so so.

The best "Pastel en Hoja" you can find anywhere in the world. I don't say that lightly. All on top of great facilities and amzingly fast and friendly service. We were a group of 17 and they didn't get one single item wrong and under 5 minutes. Simply amazing

I've had these on more than one occasion and they are absolutely delicious. You may pay a bit more for them, but they are definitely well worth every peso!!! The yuca is my favorite with chicken, but the plantain ones with pork are just as good. I would definitely make my way to Amables no matter where you are in the DR.
