The food and the people were amazing. There was no hot water at times, we had to take fast showers before the water turned cold. The toilet and shower area was open next to the bed. The floor in the room was wet all the time. It was too quite for a resort, no events, no shows. We left the resort plenty of times. We left even to go to a nearby gym. We requested an iron and their wasn't one available till the day before we were leaving. They wanted to talk about time shares based on what they will have in the future.

The room with the pool inside is beautiful! The food is awesome and the staff very friendly and knowledgeable. My only complaint is that the pool inside the room needs to be warm. It was too cold for my wife soooo I could not have some fun in there 😔😁 Everything else was great! 👍🏼👍🏼

The Worst hotel that I ever visit in my life. When I made may reservation a specific mentioned I have 2 children because I need more accommodation for the room, and they told me I will be accommodate a sofa bed, didn’t was the case. They should told me from the beginning this hotel is not design for children. They didn’t tell me in the moment of check in, if you want to go the beach and the club they bring, but when you want to go to those places the bus driver is not available he disappears. The service in the buffet is very slow. The employees take the order and I have to wait more the 25 minute to receive either the breakfast or lunch. I don’t recommend this hotel to anybody around me. No tnanks very bad services. 1 Stars I which to select 0 stars

I will never stay at Ahnvee ever again. It was a horrible experience. The hotel was obviously nicely refurbished, but it was horribly mis-managed. Check-in took forever. I booked for 3 nights for me and my girlfriend. At the front desk they ended up charging me an additional $180. I noticed other gentlemen were bringing in girls from the street and these women were staying and eating for free. Why was i charged an extra $180 for my own girlfriend, and these street girls get to come in, and eat for free. This took the whole experience to a new low. Everytime we wanted to sit down for a meal, we were given an excuse. Either the restaurant was closed for cleaning, or that we had missed the periods for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and we would have to settle for the fast food menu. Frozen burgers, frozen pizza, and frozen wings. Just horrible. That Bourbon street place was a joke. We sat there for almost two hours waiting to eat. In that two hour period, i noticed they were attending to paying customers before Ahnvee guests. (Ahnvee was suppossed to be an all in-inclusive resort affiliated with this bourbon street restaurant) . Service was horrible. On numerous occasions we asked to speak with management and managers were never on site. I've stayed in Dr many times, this is the worst hotel i have ever dealt with. Run for your life. Keep your money. This place has horrible design flaws. The bathrooms don't have doors. They're situated between the living room and bedroom. No privacy to take care of your business. There was never enough hot water. Me and my girlfriend had to be in and out of the shower within 5 minutes, or the water would be ice cold again. Overallvery noisy hotel, horrible. Never again.

The worst 1 room was flooded . No pillow cases . No towels . From 3pm til 7pm than in top my husband lost his wallet at 9pm at the steak and lobster restaurant they found it and took 100$ dollars plus $500 pesos nobody try to figure on the cameras wat happen. On top they took us to the beach we called to get pick up we waited from 4pm til 530pm nobody pick us up 😠😡 we end up taking a taxi that we end up paying out of pocket. Very disappointed

Amazing, wonderful, unbelievable. The staff top notch, the facility beautiful and inviting. When im in sosua I will only stay at the Ahnvee.
