If you love nature just get there, I would advice not the days when cruise ships are in the port (the site may become overcrowded)
These majestic falls add life to this community its breath taking cascades are phenominal
A Must See in Dominica - even if you have limited time. The waterfalls are stunning and a pretty walk from car park to viewing gallery.
Easy hike and accessible to physically handicapped
Not one, but two waterfalls!! I loved this place, perfect for picture taking. I didnt get a chance to dip into the water but great place overall
One of the most beautiful waterfalls I visitedin the Caribbean! Should not miss it while on Dominica!
IF you carefully climb over the boulders to get to the base of the left falls you will be treated to gushing hot springs. No place else like this on Earth as far as I know. Tropical rainforest paradise at high elevation so nearly always a pleasant 83 degrees F. (28 C). Edenic.
Popular falls. A short easy walk takes you to a wooden gazebo which offer spectacular views of the falls. Only the more adventurous should attempt to venture closer to the falls.
My experience was one of a kind it was like climbing to heaven ..rocks the size of 12 ton trucks, hot and cold water!come experience the real nature.
Well worth the walk up. Remember to take some old trainers or rock shoes ad you're going to go for a swim in the pools, the rocks get really slippery.
It was very busy when we were here but its interesting to see. These are the biggest waterfalls on the island. They are worth seeing, but some of the smaller ones are a better experience. Many of the waterfalls you can get right up into, but these aren't accessible beyond the viewing platform.
Easy hike to the falls - great picture opportunity. The water is quite nice as well.
I had a nice time. The hike isn't very difficult, and they have it very well maintained, despite some devastating storms in the recent past. Once you get there, it's very lovely and picturesque. You can either stay on the platform or climb up to the falls. Another good thing, not very buggy, at least not when I was there.
