HURRICANE MARIA UPDATE:

Eden Heights unfortunately suffered severe, irreparable damage during the passing of Category 5 Hurricane Maria on the night of September 18th 2017. My home, business and Family Tree community project have been totally decimated. We lost absolutely everything. At this time it is too early to make decisions about how, when or whether to rebuild. I was already under financial strain developing the property and I did not have insurance. If you can, please consider contributing to our fund to support the village of Castle Bruce, which suffered greatly, or to the fund for Papillon and Fatou who have also lost everything. Our families are now homeless and need to rebuild our lives from scratch... MUCH RESPECT AND GRATITUDE.

Eden Heights is a small, family-run, eco-conscious guesthouse, where you can experience community living in harmony with nature within a developing communal homestead that utilises permaculture design. We are 2 families who live off-grid on a sunny, peaceful hillside, sourcing our water from a nearby mountain spring, producing electricity from solar power, growing a large portion of our own food and recycling/re-purposing our waste. If you are curious about alternative lifestyles, permaculture, organic gardening, nature connection, environmental protection or self-sufficiency - or if you just want to immerse in nature and chill! - then one of our 2 wooden cabins overlooking the ocean and rainforest is a great place to stay during your vacation in Dominica. What’s more, our community includes an on-site massage therapist, yoga teacher and permaculture design instructor. Come relax, stretch and learn with us!
